You Ronnie and Bert were my best friends. My Dad’s job moved us to Orlando so we lost touch for a while…but then you asked me to the homecoming dance. You made me feel like a princess that night Bobby.
Then life happened and we moved to California. But I never stopped thinking about you. Ronnie and Bert too of course. I kept in touch with Bert until he ‘went of the grid’ or surfed to Peru. Anyway, we’ve always been friends…you played guitar hero with my daughter! I remember you then and now and I still love you very much 🥰
Thank you for sharing this, Robert. I understand your regret, but I'd wager that you have just as much or more to offer the Afters and your two children as you had before - just different. Solid spirit, mental strength, perspective, time to stop and smell, appreciation for the little things. I didn't know you before, but you seem pretty awesome after.
